Mudi

Our journey with the Mudi began with a simple goal: We wanted a more versatile, medium-sized breed that could truly do it all and would complement our Icelandic Sheepdogs. We were searching for a dog with intelligence and athleticism, but also an off-switch at home — a partner who could hike one day, step into the show or performance ring the next, and then curl up on the couch after. The more we researched the Mudi, the more we realized we had found something truly special.

Their combination of instinct, biddability, loyalty, and spirited personality drew us in immediately. What started as a search for the “right” breed quickly turned into a passion for preserving and promoting this remarkable Hungarian herding dog. Today, we’re excited to share our lives with Mudis and introduce others to their extraordinary versatility, charm, and heart.
